Who was Michelangelo?
Michelangelo was born on March 6, 1475, at Caprese, in Tuscany. When he figured out that he wanted to be a painter and told his father, his dad did not apprrove and said that painters are just like shoemakers. His mother died young, when he was only six years old. After that inncident happened, he went to college for painting and became a professional painter. Michelangelo started off with nothing and ended up with a lot in his pocket. His paintings started to get very popular and known. He was not only known for his paintings, but his architectual work and sculptings as well. He moved a lot from country to country. He would never stay in one place. He never thought he would have actually such a successful artist, and when he did he kept accomplishing more and more until the time of his death. Michelangelo passed away February 18, 1564. He has been a great inspiration to our present and future artists. He has given us the opportunity to learn and use his incredible ideas.
